It has been an exciting week at the Harris House. Children have gathered from Idaho, Illinois, Texas and Nevada to welcome home the youngest member of the family. Elder Max has enjoyed serving 2 years in the Texas Dallas Mission. Max has had a great experience serving and sharing a message of hope and love. But, two years is a long time and we are glad to have him home.
We have spent the last few days together in a house that is big enough for 6 families. We have had a great time laughing, eating, visiting and just being together. We are happy and feel blessed to have such amazing children and grandchildren!
Love, love, love seeing you all so happy and so together!! The Mission Accomplished sign is wonderful, congrats to Elder Harris! Been thinking about you all celebrating. The little granddaughter right in front of you, Cindy, is YOU...she looks just like you! So cute. Happy times!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Greg and Cindy! It must be so great to have your missionary home and to see him again and be able to give him a big hug. Your whole family looks so happy! It's fun to see a picture of everyone. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteYay for RM's. (I didn't realize you're LDS.) Glad he made it home safe.
ReplyDeleteY'all posted great pictures, and we loved hearing him speak today (8/22). He gave wonderful service and is a terrific example. Now on with the baseball! :)
ReplyDeleteCindy, I just happened upon your blog and I love it! It looks like you are having a great couple of weeks with having your son home. How wonderful. My how the time for those of us who are not waiting on a daily basis goes. I am waiting for a son to get his life together and he is doing great at it but it still seems ot take forever! Have a wonderful week and I just wanted to say hi!
