'Cool completely before cutting.' Am I the only TWD baker that struggles with this concept? Do people really wait for baked goods to cool? I am not a patient person and daylight was fading. So I did cut before cool resulting in ragged edges. But those ragged edges are delicious! I'm not sure about the cinnamon so I ate another ragged edge. I might delete it next time.
So my Blondie's are cool, they do cut much easier. This is a wonderful mix of peanut butter, peanuts and chocolate. The complete recipe can be found on Nichi's blog Bakeologie. I think this is one you will want to make.

Cindy, gorgeous photos! When my squares are warm, I use the pizza cutter. At least I get some good edges.
No, I never wait till things are cool to slice---UNLESS, I want to take pictures. Your blondies look good--wonderful in fact, but for the calories I would rather have the brownies in your previous post. Those look fantastic. Maybe it's the frosting. :-)
Waiting for baked treats to cool almost never happens here either. Yours look delicious and make for a gorgeous header for your blog page :)
Yum!
On this one, I simply could not wait. I cut a corner off about 5 minutes after they came out of the oven. So good!
Honestly, I'd rather look at 'ragged edges' than a perfectly sliced blondie. My thought process is that if it's ragged, waiting for it to cool was NOT an option therefore the recipe is TOTALLY worth it. Clean lines are overrated ;)
I definitely didn't wait for these to cool :)
You have other brownies below these brownies!! Girl, you are my kind of woman. Love me some brownies. They all look delicious. I always cut mine too soon while they are still warm. I just cannot wait.
Wow they look packed full of yummy goodness! I think these are a winner too and it's OK to say that every week!:)))
Oohhh lovely craters of deliciousness on yours!
I had a hard time even typing the part about letting them cool when I typed up the recipe this week! You know what would be good, scooping this out warm onto ice cream... that will cool it down ;)
thanks for baking with me ;)
I also struggle with the 'cool completely,' rule. Especially when it comes to thick bars! Your look beautiful.
Your blondies look great - don't worry, I have trouble waiting for delicious baked goods to cool before slicing too. I put them in the fridge sometimes to hurry things along!
Doesn't look like your blondies suffered one bit from early cutting. Love the big photo as your header.
Love your blondies...they look perfect! About that slicing things warm: I am with you, especially with my bread baking, they always say to cool before slicing...are they kidding with that???? Who doesn't love warm bread??? We will start a revolution for warm cutting, okay?
Your blondies are gorgeous! I would definitely delete the cinnamon next time.
These look awesome! And great pictures. I am also a victim of cutting too early to get the good light. Still tastes good right? :)
i am having lots of troubles with that "cool completely before cutting" step in recipes too! LOL
Congratulations are in order! I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that this recipe will be featured at Little Brick Ranch tomorrow for Foodie Friday!! Don't forget to stop by and pick up your button! :)
