I can't believe I've been cooking for over 40 years and have never made Popovers. They are a magical dish that any child would love and sophisticated enough for an adult. I deem Popovers the perfect food!
A few simple ingredients and a hot oven are all you need to create Popovers. They can be made in a muffin tin or custard cup. You can also buy a special Popover pan--I could be tempted.
They are so simple, don't wait any longer to make this yummy dish.
Our hostesses this week are Amy and Paula, check their blogs for the complete recipe.

This was my first time making them too! They look yummy!
Impossible not to love them, isn't it!
I've made some sweet and some cheesy (Grana cheese) adding some rosemary and spices...
This recipe is a winner!
Glad you finally got to try these... beautifully done. Now that you've got the recipe down, you'll have to make Yorkshire puddings with your next beef roast :)
I'm so glad I'm not the only who hasn't made or tasted these before! They really were very easy to make and yours look great!
I've never made popovers either. I thought you had to have the special pan, but now I might have to give them a try!
What a beautiful, golden color on those. Glad you enjoyed!
Popovers - what a fun idea! I've never made them, although they look like a relative of Yorkshire puddings.
My first time also. Beautiful, golden popovers you have there! Glad you enjoy them so much.
It was my first time too - never heard of the things! :)
Yours look good!

they look wonderful-i enjoyed these and the chance to use a different flour. however, it is doubtful that i will ever get the fridge cleaned out!
Cindy, Beautiful looking popovers…they look absolutely perfect!
I haven't made popovers before either... it'll be my first attempt after work today!
Picture perfect popovers - they really look delicious and I love their shapes - I would be tempted to get a special pan for these too, alas, no such thing to be had in stores aroud here, I chose to bake them in mugs instead but I can see that muffin pans seem to work perfectly too.
Aren't they great! I just love popovers.
Your popovers look beautiful!! These were a hit in my house! Glad you enjoyed them!
I was surprised by how many TWD'ers have never made popovers. They couldn't be easier, and they're awesome!
They are pretty perfect, aren't they? Yours look so pretty. It has been such fun visiting blogs this week and seeing all the different shapes and sizes, each is like a little work of art, so individual and perfect in itself. Just a whole lot of fun!
I know what you mean about being tempted to get a popover pan. I used to have one but gave it away because it had Teflon. I just ordered a reconditioned vintage 1950's cast iron one!
Wow, looks like a lot of us are new to the popover world...but from the pics you would think we were all pros!
I could not believe how simle these were and I had never made them either. Will again, though. Yours look lovely.
Beautiful popovers - what a gorgeous color!

Your popovers look beautiful just the way they were intended - fluffy and crispy.
I've never made them either but you may have inspired me!
I've made popovers once and it wasn't a huge success. But it's on my to do list to make again. Yours look yummy.
