I almost hesitate to post Another Peanut Butter Cookie recipe. But this is just too good, I would feel bad if I didn't share. I found this on Stephanie Cooks--another cookie lover. She claims it is her favorite cookie ever. I hesitate to say anything is the very best, but this cookie just may have that title. It is soft, full of peanut butter flavor with just enough chocolate to make it interesting. It's easy to make. Try it and let me know if it could be your 'favorite'.
Another Peanut Butter Cookie
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Chips (one of my favorite foods)
Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars until light about 2 minutes. Add egg and vanilla, beat until fluffy another 2 minutes. Mix dry ingredients and add to mixture, stir gently. Add chips.
Drop cookies with my favorite cookie scoop (Pampered Chef medium size) on parchment lined stone. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes. Don't over cook. Eat a couple and then package the rest up in a cute box with a ribbon and get them out of the house quick!
